Liberty Cemetery Assn. annual meeting Sunday
Liberty Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, July 5, beginning
at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Church. Attendees are asked to bring a picnic lunch and a
dessert and join in “a day of fun and renewing old friendships.”

The annual Liberty Cemetery Association picnic and meeting will be held at 11 a.m.
Sunday, July 7 at Liberty Church, according to secretary Judy York.
“If you have family or loved ones buried at the cemetery, we would like to see you
attend the meeting and bring your delicious picnic lunch and join in on renewing old
friendships or making new ones,” York said.
Those unable to attend this year and but who would like to continue support of
maintaining the cemetery may mail a contribution to Frances Gilliland, Treasurer,
Liberty Cemetery Association, 4856 FM 3242, Cameron, Texas 76520.

Annual dues of $25 per grave for cemetery maintenance are due. “Costs of maintaining
the cemetery continue to rise and the monetary support continues to decrease,” she
said.
Persons with family or loved ones buried at the cemetery, or those who have plots
reserved, are asked to send maintenance dues of $25 per site to: Frances Gilliland,
