I have been looking at your site and found information that the Milam County Courthouse burned in 1874. I am looking for two documents prior to the fire.
1. Birth certificate for 2X great grandfather:
John (Thomas?) Raney
Oct 26, 1885 Milam County, Tx
2. Marriage certificate of my great-grandparents:
John Clem Raney & Joann Permelia Baldridge
December 12, 1872 in Milam County, Tx
I wondered if it is possible to look at the remaining records to see if these documents might be among those records that survived the fire?
